How do I remove this whiteish stain from my car? I was parked under a pipe in my apt bldg's garage.?

I am not sure what kind of liquid, chemical was involved, but it was a regular apt bldg, NOT a factory. There was a huge white stain on the hood of my car where a pipe was leaking. I was able to wash and scrub MOST of the stain off but there is still a visible white stain on the car paint. How can I remove it?
